Introduction to Alzheimer

What is Alzheimer?

 

Alzheimer is a disease that strikes on human memory.  Largely known since 1907 found by Alois Alzheimer that conducting observation on 51 years old woman, observation object used by Doctor Alois Alzheimer had problem with her memory although she doesn't had any reflex problem and any other organ problem.

 

Alzheimer caused by neuro fibrillary, also by protein problem and amiloid plaque.  This protein problem caused problem in brain's neuron that makes message not successfully sent.  Alzheimer disease also could makes linguistic and digestive problem even could ends up in schizophrenia.  Alzheimer is largely founds in women age above 50 years old.

 

How to prevent Alzheimer?

 

After we could see any possibilities that could cause Alzheimer, here's some way to prevents Alzheimer:

 

1. Diet, try to consume food with rich Omega 3 ingredients, such as fish and sea food.
2. Air Pollution, always try to avoid air pollution that contains mercury and timbale from factory and car exhaust pollution that could makes neuron problem.
3. Memory Exercise, reading books, cross word puzzle or playing chess could train your memory to avoid alzheimer.
4. Diagnose your Memory, try to examine your memory by doing Alzheimer diagnosis such as Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) and Neuro Imaging with CT Scan and magnetic resonance imaging in Hospital.
